EIRÍ runs and organises several types of training courses for adults who want to improve their skills so that they can get a job.
These range from very basic literacy and personal development courses to certified training in areas like Computers, Childcare, and Business Administration. We manage a fully equipped, networked, computer suite that can take 12 trainees at a time. We run ECDL and FETAC certified courses, as well as very basic beginners classes and specialised courses in desk top publishing, web design, and computerised accounts/bookkeeping. We will try to help any of our target group members to find and access whatever training they want. In some cases we can provide small grants for fees, and travel and child/elder care allowances.
